Actors Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga-young, who starred as lovers in the 2023 JTBC drama The Interest of Love, recently reunited in a heartwarming episode of Yoo’s YouTube series, Yoo Yeon-seok’s Weekend Yoobari Talkbari.
On June 28, a new video titled “I Don’t Like Ambiguous Relationships… Yoobari Talkbari | Day 3 | Moon Ga-young” was uploaded to the channel. Right from the start, actors Yoo Yeon-seok appeared visibly nervous and excited.
“I’m fluttering. I’ve been waiting like this… When will she arrive?” he said with a shy smile, building anticipation for the reunion.
When Moon Ga-young, who co-starred with Yoo in the 2023 JTBC drama The Interest of Love, finally arrived, Yoo greeted her warmly with, “How have you been?” to which she replied, “I’ve been well. Haven’t we gotten older?” Yoo, clearly taken aback by her presence, responded:
“No, it’s not that. I’ve been watching Soo-young (your character), and I feel a bit… nervous and unfamiliar again.”
The two reminisced about the final scene of The Interest of Love, where Moon’s character, Ahn Su-young, opens a café. “Do you remember? Su-young ended the drama at a café,” Yoo said.
Moon nodded with a laugh: “You made me coffee back then too.” Yoo responded, “Your memory is seriously amazing.”
As a thoughtful gesture, Yoo gifted Moon bellflowers, her birth flower for July 10, adding a personal touch to the reunion.
“Thank you! I’ll take some photos with it later,” she replied with a smile.
Their on-screen chemistry in The Interest of Love made them one of the most talked-about K-drama couples of 2023, and fans were thrilled to see their easy rapport and genuine affection on display once again.
